Johnnie Walker Viewing Tower at Goodwood Festival of Speed

LS-Live worked with top London experiential marketing agency RPM and Johnnie Walker to develop a bespoke viewing tower for the Scottish whisky brand at the 2011 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Based on an initial  concept for a viewing tower, LS-Live developed the idea into a multi-platform unit with viewing decks, a covered terrace, discreet entrance, lounge area and facilities for live music.

The company’s in house design team worked the ideas into detailed CAD drawings for the client, indicating a structural footprint of 12.8m by 18.6m, with the first platform at 8m high and the second at 12m high.

The Johnnie Walker Viewing Tower was built out of Layher products, combined with an aluminum truss roof and reached 16.4m high at its peak.
