Vacancy - Warehouse & Operations Coordinator

Production Park is the number one live events production destination in Europe, featuring five rehearsal studios, over ten events businesses and the UK’s only Live Events Production University Centre.

 

The Role

 

In this role you will be working within the planning team to ensure timely supply of raw materials and information to the production processes as well as ensuring on time delivery of rental equipment to customers.

 

It will be your responsibility to work from the master production schedule and deliver a daily/weekly plan to the production department as a scheduled plan of work packages. You must be able to plan and organise the warehouse to ensure optimum performance and this will include managing colleagues to work effectively and tidily. Ensuring customers’ orders are sent quickly and accurately is a primary deliverable as is to ensure that the warehouse is correctly organised and stock is available at all times. Reverse logistics is another vital part of this role and ensuring our customers returns are dealt with efficiently is also imperative. Motivating and developing staff and maintaining high standards are key to this role as well driving in improvements through continuous improvement to eliminate errors and drive in efficiencies.

Objectives:

 

  • Support the day to day running of the business
  • Efficient management of the rental warehouse
  • Successful inventory control and accurate stock
  • Setup and update production KPIs

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • To work with internal teams to ensure that work packages are scheduled and are completed on time ready for use in warehouse & production processes
  • To provide accurate costings for work packages and provide a detailed material usage analysis project by

project

  • Liaising with the sales team to deliver customer requirements
  • Planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt, BOM picking and despatch of goods
  • Using space efficiently and making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met
  • Having a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
  • Coordinating the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
  • Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate
  • Motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
  • Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • Maintaining and improving standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment

 

Skills and Experience:

 

  • Leadership and management skills
  • Excellent Computer Literacy skills to include Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent Personal organisation skills, ability to manage fluctuations in workload, prioritise, multi-task and work to strict
  • Strong numeracy skill, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal
